Connells Group appoints two non-executive directors to support strategic growth

Connells Group, the UK’s leading property services provider, has appointed Andrew Bottomley and Ash Piranie as non-executive directors to further strengthen its board. They join Mark Lund, Chairman of Connells Group, and bring deep expertise in finance, risk, transformation, and customer strategy at a pivotal time for the business.

Andrew Bottomley brings over 35 years of experience in financial services and 10 years in board-level roles. His background includes senior roles at Halifax and Lloyds with experience in Estate Agency, New Homes and Mortgages. Formerly an Executive Director and CEO of Money at Skipton Building Society, Andrew has a strong focus on customer-centric strategy, regulatory and operational risk, and leading structural and cultural transformation initiatives.

Ash Piranie has more than 20 years of experience in the UK financial services sector. He has recently stepped down from his role as Chief Financial Officer at Redwood Bank, and serves as a non-executive director and Chair of the Risk Committee at Monument Bank and GB Bank. His background includes senior executive roles across a range of banks and building societies, with expertise in risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale change programmes.
