Leading estate agency and property services provider Connells Group announces the appointment of Julie Chapman as Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Julie brings over 20 years’ experience in the technology industry to the executive team, and joins from Entain where she was accountable for a complex IT portfolio across a number of UK brands and over 2,500 high street outlets. Prior to this, she has extensive experience leading a variety of technology teams and transformation programmes in customer-facing businesses, including infrastructure, supply chain, retail and websites.
As well as leading in technology, Julie champions diversity and inclusion by inspiring and encouraging the next generation into the sector, having previously led the Women in Technology initiative at Tesco and now supporting an industry mentoring programme.
In her new role at Connells Group, Julie will be supporting the business’ ongoing strategy to leverage and adopt digital technologies that add value to its customer proposition and enable its high street offices to deliver excellent service.
Julie says: “I am delighted to join Connells Group and build on the many current successes of the technology team. I look forward to exploring how we can leverage technology to enhance the business and create greater efficiencies to both support our colleagues and the service that we provide to customers.”
Anthony Glasgow, Chief Information Officer, says: “I am delighted to welcome Julie to the Group. She brings a wealth of relevant experience, and a shared appetite to drive continued innovation across our business, as we continue to invest in technology that supports our operations and deliver values for our customers and clients.”
